There was a train derailment near this cemetery a couple days after I took this shot. Scary. This cemetery has lots of different looks, my wife reminds me every time we go by it that she saw it in the fog early one morning and it was spooky. Might have to come back to it in October!
The Harley Museum sits next to one of the Milwaukee canals. On this cold day the water was vaporizing, creating a cool fog. I was surprised how many ducks and geese were swimming in the river. No wonder down is the insulator of choice!
My Mom grew up in Suring, Wisconsin. She is living in Phoenix now with my Dad. I’m sure she still remembers these lovely winter days when the sun is shining and the sky is blue.
Angel and I were cruising down County Trunk I in New Berlin and couldn’t resist grabbing the cameras and taking a few snaps. Here is mine with the 70mm.
My very first shot of the day, this Eagle was enjoying his breakfast, a fresh roadkill whitetail deer, up in a tree when we stopped the car. Unfortunately, the camera was in the trunk. By the time I got the camera out he was soaring away. Luckily, this shot wasn’t too bad!
