Day 136 – Gone Fishing
Koi fishing at the Japanese Garden. Anyone know what kind of bird this is?
Day 121 – The Damn Bird
While this woodpecker was cool to look at, he was not my friend. In fact, he was the only bad thing I could say about my vacation as he liked to beat on the roof at about 5am every day we were in Phoenix. It sounded like a jackhammer against the roof.
Day 50 – Harbor Sky
Harbor Sky, shot in the Kenosha Harbor a bit upstream from the Island Bridge. This area shows the river completely frozen over, the boats wrapped up tight, a few seagulls and Canadian geese in the distance. Shot with my wife’s Canon T4i w/10-20mm Sigma lens. Yes, we use a circular polarizer to get that sky! Amazing stuff!
Day 43 – Turkey Day
Turkeys are awesome critters. We tried to get this one flying, but he just didn’t want to do anything but run. They have a brain the size of a pea but they are interesting to look at and YUMMY to eat!
Day 22 – Juvenile Eagle Soaring Above the Wisconsin River
